A mischievous Mermaid has heard that ships are bringing fashionable goods from afar, enchant the oarsmen with your song and lead them astray to sink the ship and claim the goods, just be careful to not be spotted by the Captain, she isn't affected by your singing but is easily distracted on her own.
No crew members were harmed in the making of this game, Mermaid brings them safe and sound to the coast every time (except the boat).
While the main mechanic in only half implemented (the captain is always distracted, so you're never penalized), feel free to enjoy the music, the single stage chaos, the game over screen vibes (lol) when you do not sink the ship and finaly the epilogue/ending in the main menu.

so cute and fun!! i love how the title kinda pays homage to what i assume was a big inspiration for this (devilish hairdresser!) and i'm glad the captain was okay in the end...
Yes! Devilish series was a huge inspiration, along other videos talking about "Why are no one making mermaid games?" (along other flash game era talk), I found out the Devilish duo already had a cameo in a mermaid game after finishing this, and speaking of finishing I hope I can make this one play like intended, hopefully I find some time to spare.

The homescreen text😍✨ Despite the ending not being finished, the text was very immersive. I see the vision😝
Glad to hear the idea came through, the ending ties up to the 3rd level just forgot to leave it unlocked at the end, the title screen even has an easter egg to unlock every stage and all outfits, but time ran out so no dress up and stages only show the description, still want to revisit it later.
